Had two meals here on my first trip to East Glacier. I highly recommend their specials!! The wait staff is super cool... It's a small local cafe and people are often talking to each other from table to table. The pies were not in season yet but I have heard great things about them. The portions are huge for the price!!
It's the diner that time forgot; it hasn't changed since maybe the 50s! We sat at the counter on 1950s stools eating from a 1950s counter and it was awesome. Like going back in time. The food was good and cheap and we could see the chef cooking everything so we know it was done right. My criticism is that he forgot to put the fries in to cook so they didn't arrive until after I had almost finished my burger and there was no apology or offer to refund the money for the fries. We didn't make a fuss because other than that the experience was unique.
Good food, hardworking staff. I had the fish dinner, which was good but what stole the show was the side salad I got with it. Fresh bell pepper, mushroom, tomato, broccoli and onion on lettuce that was not iceberg! It was absolutely delicious! My husband got the blueberry-rhubarb pie and it was fantastic. Just the right blend of tart and sweet.
Nice small place with good food and friendly staff. They even have a Vegan sandwich item! Which is very impressive indeed. Good food and filling one (and this is just Vegan option)
4 of us stopped in for lunch. Burgers are large and delicious! Definitely recommend the pies. So fresh and absolutely yum!
I actually met the waitress/hostess while hiking into East Glacier. Such a nice woman. She remembered me as I came in and made the best recommendation - the French toast. Everything I had was good. I also ordered a side of sausage and hash browns. All exceptional.
This place is great! Small inside but the food and service was fantastic! I got hooked on the pancakes with that Huckleberry Syrup! The coffee there is outstanding as well. Great place!
Staff was very friendly and food came out quickly. Has a small town diner feel to it. Right across the street from the Amtrak station so it's a good place to eat while waiting for the train. Great place to eat!
Great place on the smaller size so time it right so you don’t have to wait for a table, , great food, excellent pies, are waitress was great,
Cute diner. Decent menu. Good food. Quick service.
Long wait, one of the waiters was eating spicy cheetos and licking her fingers while she was working, food was marginal at best
Been going here for years every summer. Breakfast had always been good. As of this summer I have tried 5 times so far to order a to go order and am told sorry not today. Never been a issue in the past 10 years.
Always good food and service is normally super quick.
Got there early before the crowd! Great service & plentiful breakfast! That is a "small "order of pancakes floating with Huckleberry syrup!
They had everything we wanted (besides chili fries), but that's about all they had by 3pm on a Tuesday. Clearly a frequented spot with solid diner food at Montana prices. Hit the spot after making it to Scenic Point!Table next to us loved the apple pie; but none of the other tables (us included) could try, since that table got the last slice
Great little grill. The special was Italian sausage and potato soup. Excellent. Blue raspberry huckleberry pie was outstanding. Open in the winter.
Visiting from NM. Had huckleberry pie and milk shake! It was delicious! Nice amd friendly atmosphere!
Local run small place with about 6 tables. The staff is super nice and helpful with local recommendations. Basic Diner food with a warm welcoming smile.
Food is very good, my wife and I like it very much,Best of our honeymoon road trip
7/25 They must have been having a rough day. I’ve worked as a server for years and I’m very patient, but the server was simply rude. I was okay with my eggs and hash browns taking an hour and 15 minutes, but the server was non apologetic and became agitated that we asked for ketchup. Which we then had to ask for from someone else and eventually go to the kitchen for after our food got cold and we were behind schedule. We watched a couple ask for their check and eventually just leave without paying when they got no service for 45minutes. The service was so terrible it became comical. We actually got scolded for not bringing our empty coffee mugs to the servers attention. Note: we were polite, apologetic, and thankful throughout our visit, but I did feel obligated to share this experience.
Classic Greasy Spoon! Not especially clean, over cooked buffalo burger, greasy fries, but great pie. The staff is hard working and friendly. Probably will never go there again.
Yet another cream pie with a snowy meringue topping in honor of East Glaciers 20 plus feet of accumulation so far this winter. Get it while it's hot!
Walking into this quaint diner you are met by patrons sitting at a bar with the chefs cooking away in the open kitchen in front of them. Going a little further you enter a dining room where locals are sitting, drinking coffee, and discussing the goings on of town. This diner perfectly captures the small town feel and atmosphere I was going for when looking for a place to eat. The wait staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the homemade food is delicious and will fill you up. I recommend this diner to anybody looking for a quality breakfast or lunch.
A good place to go when it isn't tourist season. A little pricey when it's not tourist season .
Tiny place, server wasn't the warmest personality... disappointed that it wasn't more charming and delicious in such a cool place as East Glacier. Oh well...
Food, service, and price were all great. If you're ever staying at the Glacier Park Lodge, walk over to town. Short walk. Small town. Great food at a better price than the lodge.
Good food friendly staff old fashioned counter style restaurant with some limited seating in the back.
Great food! Local knowledge! Fair prices.
Second time I've been here. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff, great prices. Highly recommended.
THE FRENCH FRIES HERE ARE AMAZING A MUST TRY!
In 3 days, I visited three times. I have never done that on any trip. Impressive food, great prices, and personable staff. No question hands down the best stop on my 3600 mile trip.
Service was not very friendly.
Homey diner joint that does up some great home cooking. Soups are killer!
Delicious breakfast before we started our hike. Quick and inexpensive. Yum! Awesome friendly service!
Great ready but inexpensive food... at the park, very hard to find restaurants that have a reasonable price. This is one of them. Menu is mostly American.
Small little place with a great atmosphere and great food. Come hungry and leave happy. We will definitely go back.
It is small hometown restaurant. Food and service was great! Wonderful breakfast!
Great Good! Friendly service! I really liked the personality of this restaurant.
Good food, good prices, can have a long wait on the busy days
Went to Jasper, Banff, and Glacier National Parks. Two Medicine Grill was my favorite food for the whole trip. If you are tired from hiking and just want a good amount of tasty comfort food, this is the place. I got the Chicken Tenders Dinner and my wife got the patty melt. Both good portions and delicious. In an area of the park where good food is hard to get, this place hits the mark!
A great little hole in the wall joint. The staff is friendly and the food fresh. The bacon is cooked to order and the pie is made fresh with great flavors.
Great food, friendly staff, good tunes playing. What else can you ask for! Had breakfast & dinner & highly recommend. Always have the huckleberry ice cream!!!
Packed with limited seating. Hearty breakfasts, very popular and no goo place to wait for a table
Inexperienced staff not getting your order cooked right or even making sure the orange juice was stirred up took away from an otherwise pleasant meal. But, happy to help the young staff learn their way...they were very pleasant. Huckleberry pie from the local bakery was awesome!
Cheap and cheerful. Grilled cheese and fries was greasy but satisfying. Cosy vibe.
Loved this place. It's very small, but the food is great and the service was even better. Next time we head to Glacier, we will be visiting again!
Great breakfast food, friendly service. A locals hangout
May have good food if you can get waited on. Sat there for 20 min and never got a cup of coffee. It's clear they can not handle more that 15 people at a time. Went to the lodge where we at least got service and food was decent.
The perfect little resturant to grab breakfast , lunch or dinner while visiting East Glacier, Montana. Good food, great tunes and the best Huckleberry ice cream you've ever had. My wife and I certainly recommend, say hi to Madeline(not in picture) for us.
Excellent value for money for the breakfast which set me up for the day. I came here on two occasions on a brief recent trip to Glacier NP. Service was friendly as well.
